Is it possible to change your gamertag and keep your Xbox live account or is it permanently linked to your gamertag

My good friend.. Changing Gamertag is very easy (only cost 800 MP) However the question always is can I change my e-mail to my gamertag ;)

Yes you can just serch the market place or checkout xbox.com I'm sorry for not being so precise but I know for a fact that you can change your Gamertag..
