Anyone? I know my Ninja used to max out at 214, now it can push 221..

Simple answer, they don't.

The only way it will go faster is with 1 of the following...

1. You've upgraded it to stage 3.

2. You now lean forward when driving it.

3. You're now going downhill.

4. You were drafting someone the 2nd time.

Simple answer, they don't.
Then why would you buy a car with 1k miles on it over a new car?

Because people like cars with high miles, don't really understand it personally, maybe someone else can explain that to you :)

As this is a game and the cars do not get worn out, having more miles allows for better bragging rights. Shows your dedication to the game, even if you bought it at 2k miles on trade and have only done 0.2k on top of that, you can still brag to your mates at how much that car has been driven.

But, they can't see the mileage of the other car unless they tell now can they? Sure you can brag, but that's it?

Yes it is a bragging rights thing, my 10K S7 is no faster than a brand new one. End.

Yep my 4k Gallardo still drives like it's brand new.

So does my Esprit
Ahh, it would be nice if cars did wear out and you had to service them :D
