Iced_Bullet: tool has decided to release this mod after 560BHP Requested it be released. Release time is in about 2 hours time.

Iced_Bullet #2: 560bhp hasn't provided a d'load link. Therefore have come to the conclusion it is never going to be released and have closed the thread after tool's initial request.
Big note to people.. I let this happen but do not report bugs to me or anything.. Cause this is a BETA when i sent it to '560BHP (http://forum.tdu-central.com/member.php?u=1587)' he just wanted to release it.
Working on a BMW M3 as you saw in the old thread, with tease pictures etc. Those who are new to seeing it. Well just as the title says, im working on a BMW M3. :) It is unknown to what it is going to replace but at the moment it is on the Alfa C8 due to the size being huge.

That was a beta.. Ive fixed all them problems. :cheeky: Well the badging i cannot do just yet im waiting till basbas finds out how to do it, he said he will let me know.
Man i really can't wait on the final version

Just wanting to let you know as ive had a read of the forum rules, my first post will always be updated with what im doing. Just incase you think im not doing anything. I have free time everyday and night so im always working on it.
also tool, interior and badges i have need for speed 4 on PC, whitch has a M5 and a Z4 and a Z8 so i can mail you interior and badges.
yeah its getting complicated all those new topics and stuff.. this changed today or yesterday.. was a bit searching to get what i wanted.. but i've worked it out and i understand in now.. hope it not be changed again ;)

Btw even if you give me logos etc.. It still wont work just to let you know, its all about mapping and choosing materials etc.

You should make a Need for speed most wanted GTR version of the M3 if it gets released :)

Looking real nice tool, thanks for posting your current project in here, it's slightly strange this new system at first but I think you'll find it more to your benefit than before.
Also thanks for reading the README and remember you can always make a new post when you have updated the first one; ie First post updated with new images

I cant understand people like that car. i think it's UGLY! (talking about GTR now)
The design of the vinyls is hell of an ugly but is in effect a standard GTR underneath apart from the bonnet/hood of course.
gonna be best car in tdu untill somboedy gonna make m6 or m5 cus bmw is best car and pleas man dont but spoiler on it like gtr m3 i hate spoilers:D and Tool thanx tool for doing it (Y)
btw can you change it for ruf rt12 ?

man i have e39 540i so i dont mind to have in game it..but i like m3 what tool doing too cus its bmw... i just will be like it if it gonna be fast car in game
yea.. i understand.. but i only wanna say that not only the fastest cars are much more funny'er, basic cars can be cool too..

This BMW really doesn't wanna go into TDU.. lol im having more problems then i had in the first place. Dont worry, ill fix it eventually.
Hey tool not every little change has to be done in the first post, you post progress shots and such in the normal flow of the thread, it's the big changes like from version to version or progress to progress ie; WIP -> Beta -> Release.
I'm sure you'll work it out or cry trying. lol
Can you replace it with another car? Because if it replace the Alfa 8C i dont want it (i love the 8c)
Nice work so far i hope you can do the paint just like the original cars

Yeah... don't replace the 8C, because that would make it unpaintable... I think the Mercedes SL would be a good match.

It isn't just limited to what ever car tool chooses, you can body swap it to another one of your choosing.

Its not about what car i hate or which has this and that.. To me and most likely babas is file size what can fit the car in there. And it happens that the 8C can fit the BMW.
Okey i like the car but i dont replace it with the 8C

Well sorry but if i cannot find another car that car fit it, it will have to be the 8C.
Doesn't TDU allow you to swap body files while in game anyway? I thought I read that somewhere though whether it's completely stable doing so is another matter.

Yes, you can swap any file while the game is running. Allthough it's not advised, it's possible. However I havn't tried to add in a major file like a database file while it's running. Swapping a body file is possible, but I advise choosing an unrelated car and going to the map, then swapping.

Not talking about body files though.. These main files like (3DG, 3DD, 2DM) are inside the .bnk which have to be large enough to have custom cars. Like everyone knows if too large it will crash.

BMW M3 STOPPED!
Reason: Due to game alot of crashing & freezing up, ive done what i can do with it to try and get custom textures to work, also to get interior. Nothing seems to be working, i have talked to basbas2004 about this he helped me out, still crashes so im am very very sorry to people but there is nothing i can do. All i can do is start on another car replacing a different car etc. I will however try again sometime when i learn more seeing ive only released 1 car, so i still have far to learn. Then i might return to the M3 or even a different BMW.
Sorry again this is disappointing to me also seeing this is actually my favorite BMW. :sulk:
Just to explain also that i never give up.. but this made me have 10 computer restarts and 3 blue screens.. and a hell of alot of freezing up and crashes.
Dont PM me about why or more information.. I've just tried my best to explain.

He isn't working it on it at all.. He just wants to release the beta seeing it works and has custom textures etc.. So the headlights are chrome and some other things are wrong with it, that's why i said don't message me about bugs etc. Cause im not doing it anymore till i find a better way to do it.

Well not really took over cause i don't allow editing of any sort what i release... He just wanted to release the Beta.. Honestly i don't know why but meh.

Maybe it could interest a modder.
For the moment, we aren't very numerous, sadly.
HierOS is working on the GTR version remember, I'm sure once he's done that making a standard E46 M3 would be doable. tool could authorise the project moving on if somebody wanted to continue it though if he wishes. Just give credit that he started it type thing.

560, it's passed the deadline, but seeing as you've replied it's been postponed. How nice ... :p
But if it's not released soon I will begin to question whether you're actually going to release it ... which may result in a thread closure, as it was tool who requested it closed ages ago.

I still request it to be closed actually.. Cause i don't wanna get emails about bugs or if im going to continue it etc etc. Even if its a beta or anything i still don't want people editing what ive done too.. But seeing '560' wanted it be be released i said alright cause i mean im don't really care its not private anymore or anything its just a car without getting updated.
