Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
Version 1.2
Model is from ATari only modified


Known Bugs
> Shadow
> sun visors are looking through windshield


What I´ve changed:
> Hood (not perfect but better than nothing)
> Rims
> Interior (included in final Version)
> Little Spoiler (not the same as in real)
> Carbon-like Roof
> lowered
> Led´s

What i can´t do yet
> Front spoiler

Nice! Looking good so far. I think the bodykit might be a challenge though. What program are you using for it as you will have to design the extra parts from scratch, no?

It's alright for a first try. :) Except i think you only get a modder status when you do a custom car, cause thats how 'Shark' got one by doing a custom car and so did i.

About the front lip - are you able to turn a spoiler upside down or something and have it stick out? Then just put a few more, smaller spoilers in to make it look like it's turning to follow the bumper? I appologize for the "BF2 Sandbox" method, but it could work... :)

I'm actually doing some background work, with reaper. :) But myself and reaper are busy gathering ideas etc.

yeah i got that idea too. but i don´t have a good spoiler for that.
I have 20 different spoiler. Not 1 Spoiler is good enough for that method.
But i will not give up. This Car will be finished to 100%.

Now i have fixed the roof:thumbsup:, but my hood wont work right.:confused:
Today I tried the bodykit again but it wont work good.
I tried to make a custom frontspoiler but i failed.:cry:
Maybe i try it tomorrow again.

Finally got TDU working :woot:

Tried it out, and I've come to some conclusions -

The Corvette needed this! The lowering, the subtle spoiler, the Weissmann wheels (which I already had, but they didn't fit with the car before), and actually pretty good in-game hood window and all that.

Some things that could be changed if you plan on continuing this:

Wheel spacing - perhaps bring the wheels out a little bit - you'd be suprised how "ZR1-like" this would make it.

The Z06 has this odd "pushed-in" chin spoiler thing... Maybe you'll want to copy that a few times to cover up the sides, and then bring it forward to make the front spoiler. Just noticed this.

I love the ZR1, but this one uses the Z06 interior & the ZR1 has it's logos with slightly different interior. It's side vents are also still Z06, it still needs more ZR1 details.

I have to say I love the ZR-1 & it's one of my favorite cars, but I would really hope someone could do a new one or finish of the model properly. You will notice the real ZR-1 fender vents are distinct to other Corvettes, but this BigT's car still has the same Z06 vents instead. hi, I was checking oyur car some and I wonder if you know why the windows got non transparent on your Corvette. I did a few small mesh mods myself and never ended up with Windows Transparence problem, so I thougth I ask if you know why that happened to you.

I'm dying for a realistic model of any Corvette - ZR1 would be especially great! Anything you can delete with your model to make it fit under the limit? Though I'm sure you've already thought of that.
