Oh a GT2 that great. I guess this could be a comfortable replacement for the RUF RT12 be. at last this two base on the same 997 Chassi. Now I hope the bugs can get fixed and that it will have a nice dashboard. maybe use of the Eden RT12 one ? Well Knigthdriver team will figure it out.

Thats caused by the car... So something you have on the car. I can be something like this.

Parts closely named the same

Example: door_right then you might have door_right_window ive seemed to get this issue with parts to correct it you can either put a number at the end of every part and that seems to fix it. :)

If it still occurs then you might need to 'Merge' the part again from a backup or original file. just incase it might be corrupt secretly or something.

Meh. The 996 was too soft. Even Porsche's softer car's have had sharp parts, for instance, being hit be a 962 would be one thing, but I definitely wouldn't want to be hit by it if it were going backward. the 70's 911s were not round, there were always sharp edges. The 997 goes back to that sharpness you see, that scary, screaming, deathtrap feeling. This makes the CGT a bit weird too I guess, but it's sexiness is a loophole.

I like the 997 Headligths, because those remind me on the headligths from 993, 964, 930 and even from the old 901 cars. The 996 onces where diffrent and untypical for 911's. But I guess its a matter of taste ?

i got a new model of the turbo. :)I start the complete new and much better version after the GT2:):). Sry guys but the GT2 is my absolutly fave. Porsche:thumbsup:. And jah i will fix the headlights.:cool: This Version isn´t allready in beta status at all. xD

Yeah, I am more of a fan of the 997 lights, but maybe that's because I've been around a real one for a while. My mom's now ex-boyfriend was a small car collector (He was a doctor), and one of his cars was a '79 911S. (Unfortunately it was brown, though the paint was amazing) I loved that car, the way it looked and sounded, so I guess I have just grown to like the round things. I just saw a Turbo the other day, the car was nice-ish, but the lights were just... :ill:

I just have 1 complaint and that happens to be same as last time :P

The rear wheels are a little too far into the body.

Having said that! This is really one of the best made mods i have ever seen for TDU. Hope you have the same success with the Turbo. :D

Btw are you also making A GT3? Or any other Porsche for that matter?

@electro: yes the 911 Turbo will be on the RTurbo. And the GT2 is not final yet. Rear Wheelbase and a few small things have to be done.

@RX:37: Yeah i noticed that. I think the wheelbase is not the only thing. The GT2 is a little bit to low.

We need a Car for the Rk Spyder (should be a Porsche).

They don´t want to go lower. Everytime i modify them and start tdu they are on same place. This is annoying me as hell. But i will fix this. ^^

Genral question, in order to buxfix the minimal outsticking interior. Why not scale the whole car a very little bit larger? A tiny bit probally wont be noticed by the eye and you most likely get everything of the interior inside the car. And from screenshots it looks like there not much of rescale needed to fix it.

The Edonis wheels look pretty like the original GT2/GT3 wheels.
You could try those, not sure if it wheel fit.

But I know the Edonis wheels work under the Ruf RT12, so also under your new GT2.
Maybe, if you put the GT2 logo on the Edonis wheels, it looks like its supposed to be.

Maybe i will release a final version today. This version will not include any rims. And windows don´t work. Doors won´t work in right way! Maybe i will fix this. But not today, not in next time.

On a light-colored mod car, any bugs are immediately obvious. However, with the final version of this, the only thing I could notice is that the small intakes under the spoiler didn't have mesh on them and weren't black. For your third mod (indeed, for any mod) this is very good quality! Thank you! :)

I like this mod but there are 1 major bug imo

I don't really mind the windows(no bug there)
The Wipers are painted with the car, which isn't very nice(small bug)
The Doors, I think they are an easy fix, maybe Porsche Carrera GT can do it or such(bug) but meh

I have no cule if that intreses somebody, bud Big T's 2nd 997 Turbo realse has a better interior, and that interior works in the GT2 a touch better then it does on the 997 itself. for some straing reason.

It's a really nice car, but shame it has windows & doors bugs. The doors don't open properly, looks retarded when they open. Why there are no GPS window & speedo info even though I set it in the display options?

I think I know what the problem is with the doors.

It looks like the pivot points are swapped from left to right.

The left door is assigned to the right side's pivot point, and the right door is assigned to the left side's pivot point.

Swap them back around and it should be fine.

You could just rename the files that you download so that they will replace any car you want. You can do that with all mods. ;)

The second way would be to actually buy the real Megapack, along with the RUFs, you get around 40 other vehicles with it. ;)
