Mods and online play

Sorry for the noob question, but what do other online players 'see' when I mod my car?
So far I've switched the wheels successfully, but do other people see them, or the original wheels?

They see the original game files, no matter what you mod. Unless they do the same mod.

It all seems kinda pointless then doesn't it?? If you can't show it off I mean. I was looking forward to impressing my cruise buddies with my shiny wheels :(

So please tell your firends to install the same mod as you ... in fact, you would do it for any game ...

Pointless because you can't play poser?? Come on, none of us is a 5 years old. The mods are for your personal taste. If you really want to show off something special. I guess you migth Either model a car on your own, or painshop a picture and submit that as digital art or something.
